Co-design workshops

Through October and November, the National Careers Institute together with the National Skills Commission and Skills Organisation Pilots, held a range of targeted workshops across state, territory and regional centres to focus on the co-design of the:

  • priorities, role and goals of the National Careers Institute
  • work of the National Skills Commission, which will oversee the Australian Government’s investment in vocational education and training (VET) qualifications and promote a nationwide approach to skills forecasting, and
  • work of the Skills Organisation Pilots, which will give industry more ownership across the national skills pipeline and help improve the national training system for both industry and students.

We would like to thank everyone who attended one of our workshops and provided valuable feedback which will help shape the ongoing role and functions of the Institute.

Over the coming weeks, we will be sharing key themes and findings from each workshop to continue the conversation.
